Growing Tomorrow's Forests. . . Today
Itasca Greenhouse, Inc. - Conifer and Hardwood Tree Seedlings

Celebrating over 25 years of business, we strive to be big enough to meet your tree planting needs, yet small enough to give you the personal attention that you deserve.

Established in 1983, Bill and Cathy Sayward took over ownership and management of Itasca Greenhouse, Inc. in 1988. Since that time we have "grown" the business, increasing the growing, production and storage areas, so that we are better able to meet the increasing popularity of containerized tree seedlings. Itasca Greenhouse, Inc. grows 5-6 million containerized tree seedlings in two crops per year. With our greenhouses utilizing co generation heat from our local power station, and with our management efficiency, we are able to produce high quality containerized seedlings at low cost. Itasca Greenhouse, Inc. offers conservation grade seedlings for reforestation, wildlife plantings, soil stabilization, wind breaks and other tree planting needs.

While the best time to plant a tree was 20 to 30 years ago,
the next best time is now!
