TREE GUARD^TM with Bitrex^TM is a proven deer browse deterrent. It is lightly sprayed on seedlings, shrubs, ornamentals, hedges and flowers to produce a lingering nasty taste that animals do not like.

The bitter tasting Bitrex^TM is locked into the plant surface forming a "protective jacket" which resists dew, snow, rain and vaporization. One quart can covers 250-400 seedlings, one gallon - approximately 1000 seedlings. Not a concentrate - ready to go! Tree Guard^TM does not wash off, it adheres with a single application and continues to protect through all kinds of weather.

We will treat your seedlings with TREE GUARD^TM prior to shipping. TREE GUARD^TM protected tree seedlings will give you browse control immediately. While your trees may be "sampled" by browsing animals they will quickly learn from the start that they are extremely bad tasting and will avoid them in the future. Seasonal field treatments may be necessary to keep browsing damage under control. Browse repellent may discolor flowers if applied to open bloom.

Plantskydd® is an animal repellent developed in Sweden - made from 100% natural ingredients: food grade dried blood (porcine), vegetable oils. Proven effective against deer, elk, moose, rabbits and opossum. Plantskydd repels by emitting an odor that browsing animals associate with predator activity. 2.2 lb. soluble powder concentrate will treat about 400-600 plants 1 ft. high. Plantskydd lasts for 4 to 6 months. Mix with water just the amount you need. Animals avoid plants before they bite - not after! Browse repellent may discolor flowers if applied to open bloom.

The PAK deer net is a strong, polypropylene mesh fabric that keeps deer out year round. It is UV treated to withstand years of exposure to the elements. Studies show that other forms of deer repellents are only effective for short term (6 months and less). Fencing is the only long term solution. PAK deer net is significantly less expensive than electric and wire deer fences, and it is easier to install and maintain. Green color of deer net blends into background and is less offensive to look at.

Easy to install and lightweight, just attach to trees or posts around the perimeter of the protected area. Ties hold netting to rope or cable that is only 5 ft from ground and staples hold the net to the ground 5 ft. 9 in. from the posts or trees. It makes a sloping barrier that confuses deer, and keeps them from jumping over the fence. See diagram below. Custom designing of your deer fence is available.
