What is Moisturin?

Moisturin is a dual-purpose clear liquid plant coating that forms a prophylactic shield on plants and significantly reduces plant stress due to water loss. This physical barrier also protects the plant against damage from a large variety of insects, disease, UV degradation, frost, windburn and acid rain. With a single application of Moisturin you create multiple benefits for your trees and plants. THis is extremembly cost effective for the grower and the reduction of toxic chemicals going into the soil or ground water is beneficial to the earth.

Moisturin as an Anti-Transpirant

University and field tests have shown Moisturin to be the most effective of all anti-transpirants and anti-desiccants. Why is this? Moisturin anti-transpirant uses a completely different chemistry than typical foliar anti-transpirants.

Moisturin's patented formula contains a tough adhesive resin that has an extremely low vapor transmission rate. This resin allows Moisturin ant-transpirant to be used at any dilution with virtually no danger of plant phytotoxicity. Moisturin anti-transpirant is fortified with two high-grade surfactants, a UV inhibitor and a waterproofing agent to prevent the dried film from leeching off the plant surface. Moisturin anti-transpirant enhances plant appearance with a slight gloss coating and will not stick in sprayers like standard anti-transpirants.

Moisturin is extremely effective as a frost protector. As an anti-transpirant and anti-desiccant, Moisturin can be applied to dormant woody plants to reduce water loss during harvest, storage, shipping and re-planting. It improves the survival of trees and plants exposed to any type of stress, especially species that are sensitive to water-loss. Moisturin is effective for roses, cane-berries, fruit trees and ornamentals. It is especially effective for big-leaf evergreens during extreme cold conditions.

STASIS™
Soil Drench Anti-Transpirant

Stasis ™ is a soil drench anti-transpirant. When applied around the root zone of the plant, Stasis will condition the plant to raise its own natural abscisic acid (ABA) level, thus closing the stomata and putting the plant into a state of temporary drought resistance. This period can last up to 4 weeks or until normal watering (rainfall) occurs. Conditioned plants will be much hardier against a variety of environmental and handling stresses such as drought, heat, shipping and storage. Plants treated with Stasis will have better survivability when planted, and are less subject to planting shock.

Stasis is completely safe for agricultural and hortical use on ornamental, vegetable, and herb crops. It is biodegradable and safe to the user and contains no toxic compounds.

Stasis is also marketable in a retail 8 oz. version called Vacation™ to be used on plants around the house and yard when care connot be given to them. Consider marketing Vacation for your customers so they can use it in the establishment and care of their plants.

Vacation ® All Natural Anti-Drought Plant Treatment

Plants survive without watering for over two weeks!

Vacation® is a soil drench anti-transpirant. When watered into the soil, Vacation® causes the plant to self-induce a state of temporary drought resistance. Vacation conditions the plant to raise its own Natural Abscisic Acid (ABA) level, thus closing the stomata and preventing water loss through transpiration. After being treated with Vacation®, plants will be drought resistant for up to two weeks or until normal watering is resumed. Vacation is non-toxic and is completely safe for pets and people. it is biodegradable and contains no toxic compounds or petrochemical drivatives.

Application: For best results use on damp soil. Dissolve Vacation® into water to create a solution. Water solution into soil until saturated without creating run-off. Do not water again until you wish to resume a normal watering schedule.
