Hardwoods are grown in the following containers:

  • Styroblocks: 13 - 7/8 inch wide by 23 - 5/8 inch long
  • Styro 4: 160 cavities, 4 cu. in. soil plug
  • Styro 6: 112 cavities, 6 cu. in. soil plug
  • Styro 77: 77 cavities, 10 cu. in. soil plug
  • Styro 45: 45 cavities, 20 cu. in. soil plug
  • Multipot: 45 cavities, 6 cu. in. soil plug

Height:

  • Hardwoods minimum approximate height 3 in.- 14 in.

Hybrid Poplar Rooted Cuttings - NM-6, Is a fast growing tree, which produces a white to light colored wood. It is a relatively clen growing tree with little to no cotton being produced. It is a proven northern hardy clone. It can be used for fiber, wildlife cover, wind breaks, visual barriers, energy plantings and shade trees. It is short lived at 30 to 60 years or so. Zone 2-5a
